I have been talking to quettaser and kissingchaos9 about Criminal Minds recently, because we used to talk about CSI and SGA a lot and obviously needed a new acronym in common. Another thought: Reid has rarely moved in circles where high fives were expected of him. He'll probably have to PRACTICE!

You have just caused spasms of glee in my brain. Reid would TOTALLY practice his high fives! And sometimes he'd practice in, say, the bathroom mirror at work, and one of his teammates would catch him. And it would be awkward, but of course they would help him practice, because they are family and family help each other. Reid and Morgan could have secret high five practice sessions, that Morgan thinks are ridiculous, but he's happy to do it since it makes Reid feel better. OH REID. He is the reason I watch that show.

OKAY I SAW THIS LAST YEAR AND IT SOUNDED REALLY AWESOME. But then, as now, I was confused: who are these Mission Accomplished Marines and where can I observe the similarities myself? Because awesome teams high-fiving is completely relevant to my interests.

The Mission Accomplished! Marines are the Marines who serve under Sheppard on SGA. They like having Sheppard as their CO, because he has saved their lives repeatedly, so they protect him from his own gross emotional problems.

And then they high five.

OMG, someone I know from other fandoms who is into Criminal Minds fandom!

I have been searching for this overlap for more than a month now, because I have recently fallen so very hard for CM and I am seriously short of people to squee to about it.
