I was about to start with 'what I love about this is', except there isn't one thing, so I don't even know where to begin.

I like that it's a healing story that isn't about bandaging wounds, so much as it's about digging deeper and deeper, bleeding, to make sure the wound is clean first. Like, Riku's admission that it was him in Xehaonrt's body, ooomg. But, sex and touch and kisses as healing, transformation, is so hoooot. Acknowledging that things can't be undone, ever, but in little acts of tender and forgiveness, maybe they won't come undone themselves... eie.

And and and.

So many little things that are my kink and my heart and oh - hearts beating names; sentences strung together fast and quick and the rhythm climbs and climbs; Namine scars that Kairi can feel; sex without sex (She wants to unsee, unhear but she knows him, the shape of his hips and taste of his neck and the low dark noise he makes when he comes.
