Another letter, this one more telling than the last.
If anyone needs me I'll be away. Personal business. Leave a message on my voice mail or something. I'll get it eventually.
[Private to Anko, Havoc, Riza, and Roy]I'm done waiting. I've emailed copies of the latest letter, and all this waiting might get Luke killed. I've already purchased

I am being rational. I'm the person he reached out to and I should have already figured this out and gotten him someplace safe. I knew there was something off about that woman, and now I know I can do something worthwhile about it.
This stopped being something I could wait on when he mentioned being threatened.
I knew I shouldn't have said anything.

Yes, I reached out to you as friends, and I found myself getting shut out for reasons I can't even fathom. I'm sure you all had the best of intentions in mind, not wanting my 'emotions' interfering with the case, but part of that case is the person I accepted responsibility for and he needs me.
I will be careful. I've already contacted a few people I know who can help me as well.
Thank you, I'd appreciate that. I'm honestly just going to try and lay low for a few days, see what I can find out about where they're living and what the place is like. I know the orphanage where he was adopted from also wants to check in on him.

You need to refund your ticket, make the flight for in two days time. If you don't, I'll have your passport suspended and you will not be able to leave the country, and on top of that just to be sure, I'll have you held on hindering an ongoing investigation.
We are too close to having everything we need for you to go blazing in and ruining it all.
I may be a little cruel, but I will not allow you to let your emotions interfere with my case. I will do what I can to have someone over there investigate his well-being without raising any eyebrows, but we are two close to doing this the right way for it to be fucked up now.

You need to stop acting like I'm some child who has no idea what I'm doing. This no longer concerns you, this has become something I have to do for Luke. Considering I'm the one who got you investigating this that's pretty ridiculous.
I am not going in 'guns blazing' as you and Riza seem to believe. Give me more credit than that.
The fact that you've made this a case means there is something more going on, something that you're not telling me. It doesn't matter, not anymore. Not when his life is at stake.

It's been a case since your original one was lost. I promised you results, Riza, Havoc, everyone's been busting their asses trying to get the kid back, and you're willing to disregard everything everyone is trying to do. What I did not promise, was to give you every little piece of information. There are reasons behind my methods, and I don't have to explain everything step by step to anyone. We've almost got her. One more day, isn't going to kill you. Between Riza's contacts and my own, we should be able to set up surveillance on the broad's house, just to ensure nothing happens ( ... )

If it helps, I'm no longer in the city.

The only reason I'm telling you this is that we know, Kurenai. We're doing our best to put some cuffs on someone, and bring him home. We are going to bring him home. Don't do anything rash like going off yourself.
You know I've always been a hundred percent in believing in your smarts and logic, but this isn't logical. Kurenai, it's not going to do any of us any good if you go in there totally unplanned. I've told Anko about my opinion in letting you come in the first place, and I'm going to say what I told her: this is field work, this is my part of the job where you've always been worried about, all those nights that I didn't call you back. You know the risks ( ... )

Far be it from me to do anything that might ruin what any of you have carefully set up. I can only hope that when you find Luke he's willing to go with one of you. If not, I suggest you contact Roger.
Worry not, I'll keep out of your hair from now on.
