All the birthday's this month really remind me that nobody ever celebrates mine. Josh and I went to Portland, Oregon the first week of November 2006. The autumn weather was actually pretty great (it only rained two of the five days we were there) and there was a ton of cool stuff to do....great botanical gardens, a decent art museum, funky shopping (its the home of Powell's Books!), thriving music scene (we saw Kool Keith, aka "Dr Octagon" at the Doug Fir...whoop!), fabulous coffee, and, mostly importantly, its the home of VooDoo Doughnut.

I am not. I had a good time in tempe, I just didn't enjoy having to drive. Plus that traffic jam at the ASU stadium was shit.
