I feel like as much as the WTO protests showed the power of people working together against a system that is better armed, better supplied, and better trained.

It also gave a glimpse into the bleak future we may have in America as we become more totalitarian everyday.

i was thinking about the global effects of those few days in Seattle and a couple of events came to mind. Like the south american workers who, when faced with massive layoffs at a storm window manufacturing company, the workers stood together and refused to close the factory. They actually held a sit in so effective that the owner has given up the factory to the workers! They all own it now like a communist corporation, and I think they have the courage and know-how to do that because of Seattle! Because we showed the world how to be semi-violent... i guess. And all the protests in Iran. I mean they had to of seen what happened and how we stopped the WTO talks. It makes me happy.
