ITS actually had some pretty shoddy craftsmanship O_o I was looking at the dresses some of my friends had from ITS, and the seams were all mis-matched and intersections were off by a few inches, etc. Honestly, I think I lot of Lolitas don't know enough about garment construction to notice though XD

Anyway, I think it would be a great idea :) It is sort of what I want to do, too! I want to make ready to wear, though. Still just basics :D Maybe we could team up and sew from opposite sides of the world XDDDDD

Awesome to hear your good mood is continuing!! :D That's great!

I never saw a dress from ITS, but I know my petti sucks. It's all lumpy, because it's not sewn evenly. I like the idea of what they did though. They were based here, and made soemwhat cheaper items, great for beginners. I'll have some ready to wear, but I want to offer the custom option too. I know I don't fit into much ready made stuff. We could work together, and then who ever was closer could make the items. We'd have to share out patterns with each other though, to make sure we were both making the same things!!!

XD Yea the patterning thing would be difficult! But actually working together does sound like it'd be fun :D I have access to lots of Japanese import fabrics, which would probably be a big plus :)

If we used the same drafting method, we could probably get the same patterns. Right now I use pretty much all draping :P and that is really difficult to copy exactly!

I don't know how to do either. Which makes making things without a pattern really difficult. I had found a draping book once, but I don't remember the name of it, and I can't seem to find it again. :(

We'll have to see how it works out!
