Well. That's a weight off of my mind! I just found out that not only do I get summer aid for the session I wanted it for, I can graduate in December 2011! Whoo! only one semester more than it should have taken! I'm so happy!
I got more people interested in Sera's Stitches too. I'm so motivated to go finish the commissions i have left. I have:
Dress for Cleo- Pattern alterations, then fabric cutting and construction. All materials (less some ribbon) have been bought.
Dress/ underskirt Set for Nancy- Most of the overdress is cut. I need to finalize the design of the underskirt. then put it all together.
Skirt for Tamara- Ruffles are cut. Need to cut the skirt fabric and put it together. also need to make headbows- one for her and one for the other girl who ordered this skirt.
Bloomers for Jen- Really need to do that. Shit, need to go back to my dorm before I meet up with her tonight too.
JSK for Alexa- need to finalize pattern and cut fabric. also need interfacing.
Vest for tommy- need to find his pattern, and make it. I need more reference pics though.
Backpacks- I've been on a roll with the two I made most recently, and I can't wait to make some more. but I think the other stuff is going to come first.
Scarves- Need to make stock for my etsy store, but I can't find colors I need.
I'm sure I'm missing stuff, but that's what I've got on my mind so far. I'll check my commission master list (and hopefully update the damn thing too) after I make my schedule for next semester, later tonight.
I broke up with Tommy. He took it rather well. I feel bad, and I care about him a lot, but right now and in the weeks to come, Sera's and my schoolwork need to come first. Once those are well established, then I can worry about romance.
I wanted to write more, but I lost the itch to write, and I have class in a few moments. I'll probably be updating a lot in the next few days, to prepare you for me not being able to update much over the summer, especially not if my lappy stays in the condition it's in.
