That's it, I HAVE reference (I wouldn't draw even THAT good grandpa if I didn't. I see him so rarely that I wouldn't know how to draw him even as a stick figure... ) I'm trying to not make it manga style, really. To tell the truth, I've been practising real style for a while now but since I haven't gotten past children with it yet, my skills are really sucky at older people. Oh well, I have two weeks to go before it should be ready so I have still time to sharpen up my skills. Just frustrating because the pictures I have are puny and I have to face the fact that I have still A LOT to go before I can admit to myself that I'm good artist (that can draw different kind of things). .3. But there's something I really like in this whole thing; learning and being frustrated makes me feel all giggly and nice. ♥
