Oh T__T I love this 'verse, I really do. I'm very interested to see where it'll go, but until then I just adore all of this wonderful affection and Sherlock caring and.. well, John's not getting closure, but.. #crying

Not caring would make him Moriarty and that thought disturbs him more than he can fully understand. Moriarty killed himself. Sherlock wants to live.
This line is wonderful. I hope the series will reflect this, actually.
Looking forward to the next part ♥

Thank you! *rolls a bunch of sheep towards you* I do sort of know where it'll go and it terrifies me because actual plot! I'll try not to chicken out and actually go in the direction my muses tell me I must go.

The Sherlock vs. Moriarty thing just really fascinates me. Because they are similar but I believe that even though Sherlock would never admit it to anyone, he does care about people and he does care about life. He finds a way to fake his suicide because he doesn't want to die, no matter how self-destructive he can be at times. Sherlock seems cold and uncaring but we still see that he cares about people. In a way, Moriarty seems like a warmer and more sympathetic person at first glance when he's not being terrifying but at the core he is so much colder and uncaring than Sherlock can ever be. He's everything that Sherlock tells himself that he is but when it comes down to it, he realises that he never truly wants to be Moriarty ( ... )
