Lately I have realized I am not a feminist. :( I am a slave under ideals created by men. To be a woman is like running a farm. Your body needs constant grooming and attention. Women are for some odd reason assumed to be hairless everywhere except on their head and over their eyes. I suppose a tiny bit between your legs could be ok as well. ( Read more... )

It's sad that women need to shave and put on makeup if they don't want to. I wish men and women would realize that body hair is beautiful and would keep it.

I always thought Sweds had light hair. Then agan, I don't think Lena Philipson or Shirley Clamp have light hair either. hehe

I don't know if I think it is beautiful... I am probably damaged for live by the cirrent ideals that have been instilled in me. I didn't even care about it until someone pointed out to me that my legs were hairy when I was 13 or so. In gym class. Bah!

Som kvinna har man mycket att leva upp till...

Men du skriver att du inte är feminist baserat på hur du kontrollerar din hårväxt...jag tycker att man kan vara feminist ändå - om man tycker att det är ett positivt epitet och om man skriver under på feminismens huvudsakliga värderingar. Att kämpa för kvinnors rättigheter har ju inte bara med det yttre att göra (även om våra utseenden används som vapen mot oss).

Hej!

Klart att man kan vara feminist men ohårig! Var bara det jag störde mig mest på den dagen. Dessutom är ju kroppsidealen väldigt mans-formade, om du förstår vad jag menar. Även om en del tjejer tycks tro att de är dom själva som tycker att det är vackrast att se ut så.. äsch, jag vet inte. Men irriterande är det! Och hej! Lägger till dig på min vänner-lista då, alltid kul med nya bekantskaper!

Yeah you have a point there! But I have yet to experience that myself... Guess I'll just have to hold out through the PMS and lesser salary and massive body hair growth removal processes... haha
