I wouldn't say the pop punk thing is dead, more of an on hold kinda thing. Mike wanted to try this album writing competition kinda thing so we went with it for a bit and hit a stride, which is good. We'll prolly end up going back to it when we are done, but right now this is turning out pretty good.
