most likely, i will be postponing birthday celebrations until i have the time to organize a larger-scale birthday-slash-house-party to raise money for catalyst project (www.collectiveliberation.org). very excited!

i love my jobs/internships. across the board, i'm doing creative, meaningful organization-building work creating new programs and strengthening existing relationships. it's rather self-directed while closely attended to by two amazing mentors. i get to work with a lot of different people while scheduling my work around what works best in my life. there are a lot of things i will miss these next few weeks while i'm traveling. i love the bay, i love my life and friends and home here, hoorah, hoorah, corny corny but true.

i'm in bar harbor picking up my brother from school. it's so incredibly beautiful and serene here. the school is on an island surrounded by beautiful views of things that weren't made by humans. nonexistent cell reception and limited email access have been breaths of fresh air. i hope to feel this way while i'm in ithaca, too ( Read more... )
