yesterday i had a dentist appointment for which we used sedation dentistry, designed particularly for fearful patients (moi). it involves taking a pill an hour before the appointment and sleeping through the whole thing! it was very non-traumatic, practical and a great option for me. for all you folks who avoid going to the dentist or would rather ( Read more... )

had the loveliest birthday. two more weekends of celebrating this bday, at which point it turns over to niall's bday season. november rules. very happy.

today will be a long day. i would do anything for a nap. i could sleep like no one's business. all the time. sleeping rules. i'm always tired.

my last day of being 23. it was a hell of a year. i'm sad that my age will no longer be a prime number, at least not until i'm 29. ah well.

i finally got around to watching "america's favorite neighbor", a documentary about fred rogers. he continues to be one of the most inspirtational folks i've ever known of. moving, very moving.

i have to say, i am very, very happy and very, very lucky in my life right now. on so many fronts. :-)
