Ooh, I wasn't expecting Sergio and Xabi's family's backstory! Very interesting... And the whole memory of Sergio's dad telling him the story is adorable.

Every time he tries to go home, tries to unburden the other man, either he or Steven find an excuse to force him to stay.
That's so sweet :') And I just eat up any and every mention of Stevie/gerlonso that I can get, and Stevie being wonderful always makes me smile!

Iker!! Omg I LOVED that backstory you did for him and Sergio a while back. It was just another one of the beautiful ways you managed to make this story so intricate and fleshed out.

He’s known Stevie long enough now that he likes the older man. They’re almost brothers.

Oh man I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter so much!! Sometimes I feel hesitant when chapters aren't too shippy bc I know that's what most people want out of a fic. But yeah, Stevie and Xabi are so fun to write, esp in this fic where they're just no-drama, in-love.

I devoured the remaining and this chapter ignoring my work and god how much I love this. Your Sergio is so, so beautiful, he's one of the best characters I've ever read in this fandom. If only he got what he deserved and didn't have his heart broken by the people he loved.

I really can't even comprehend how you created this world with the politics and history, with all these different characters. And to think how much you've written. This fic didn't deserve to be abandoned. It's too good. You're a brilliant writer and I hope to read more of this story.
