Paul on the WWE currently
It was four years ago when the shows were split so more wrestlers can be seen on each show. I'm still waiting for that to happen. We STILL see the same people day in and day out each and every damn week.

I never played DnD and now I'm thinking of trying it out so maybe I'll buy 4th Edition in a year or two... when the prices drop and I'll have some money to spare...

The chance of 4th Edition prices going DOWN are slim to none. The books are gonna be $35 at release, and probably only will go up.

Now I do know that in October or so, WotC will have the full 4E SRD online for use.

Amazon offers all the books for £39.59 which is already nearly half the price of a core book published by White Wolf... and if it goes up, I'll just won't buy it...

Owning a game store I'll tell you that the core books will almost always retain their published price. But by waiting, you can at least hope to pick up used copies or new copies that were bought at liquidation prices. If you want to get into D&D then I'd heavily suggest you start with the new system. =)
