I'm glad though that you get to be in another environment and go on to bigger and better things. Sure, you won't see all of us as often but absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?

You're right, being sad about it won't help. I think that life just has to move, such is the way of things, and we move with it--But all we can really do is take each moment for what it's worth and leave with hope when the time comes. Most people who knew each other in high school will probably lose touch, but we had that time together, and that's what matters. We can't stay together forever, but we will always have those memories, those moments to look back on when you move on to bigger, more exciting things.
I'm proud of you. I really am.
