i got accepted to teach for america and my assignment is secondary english in memphis. im really excited about the whole getting in thing but memphis? still....exciting.

memphis has ELVIS. therefore, it's awesome. how do you know what you're getting to teach already?and notat's not ESL, just like junior high english? all i know is elementary school. they're looking at my undergrad transcript, but...i have taken 1 english class and as far as math and science goes, i have one science lab--archaeology. all my other englsih, math, and science classes were ap credit.

Uh, high five! Memphis is the shiz. They have cool stuff there... like ELVIS. But besides that, Tennessee is cool. They do wear orange there don't they? HAWTlanta could be lots of fun. Overall, I'd say that sounds like a good plan.
