I found a bison this week! It was hiding under a tree in the Tiergarten.

Okay, it was made out of bronze, but I still thought it was cool. Yay, bison!

You rock my world in countless ways. I want to see a white-throated swift. That's so cool.

I really wish I had something intelligent to add, as opposed to *drool* that's so awesome *drool*.

So, where do the Salamanders come from?

They come from the last time there was a wetland. They scatter when they dry up in hopes of finding a new one- a salamander can live maybe a few days without water, and the lucky ones that survive by chance stumble across more water before that period is over.

I would expect that the little male salamanders would hope to run across a female salamander in same wetland and then... well, I think Mrs. Bond took care of this information.
