I should probably also talk to you about the times (those I can remember post-concussion, anyway) that you've inspired me to stay focused, and why you are one of the two, maybe three, people that I absolutely trust to be literary executors.
Life going forward is all one has left, right? I write about my past when it informs my present -- it's still life and death when I can't come out to my mother when she says, unprodded, that the Tsarnaevs are on the same plane as Eric Rudolph, but then says that gays shouldn't marry, and then says that my father's last vote (entered by my brother) was for McCain because he was a Navy man. And I know that wasn't true.
These games we play with time are like golf with your father and brother.
