I was hoping to get up to Boston for a workshop in August but my adviser blew me off (I needed a letter of reference from her, and no, this is not the first time this has happened -- anyway). My brother's up there now but he's finishing law school and heading out to LA/Phoenix later this summer.
I need excuses to go to Boston. (And Vancouver, if that's where Cris ends up.) (*shakes fist at DHS again*)
