both of you nailed it! it's so cool to see this versus earlier ones you'd done, as you're right, even through the video you can see how relaxed you are and how connected to the audience you are.

also you have such a commanding presence that somehow you managed to make my kinect turn on netflix! (it's voice controlled. the fact that you did that is kind of epic)

yeah, I don't even watch that old slam video anymore. it's just painful. I'm not totally cool with watching this video either. I don't think I'll ever be really comfortable with watching myself ... at dinner on Wednesday, sirendipity and I were remarking to each other about the awkwardness of watching video of yourself. Like looking in the mirror and wanting to tell yourself to stop doing that thing, but being powerless to do so.

I'm so glad there's video to watch! Both stories were great, and I actually love the order of the telling - it makes each story more of its own thing.

Awesome. Totally nailed it. I don't know Joe, but I can see how you guys are such good friends. As for the personification of the bike, how does it feel to be good friends with your ex's husband?

dude, wait, did I not introduce you guys last week? Or was that lost in the crowd and noise?

As far as relationships and personifications go, I've been enjoying being friends with the husband as genuine friends on our own terms and not with an intermediary ;)

though, the 520 has been in Florida for the last little while, so I never see it whenever I visit, and I maybe miss it a tiny bit.
