"I don't think it's all that bad for a first Draconic poem, don't you think?" All that bad...! It's amazing. Not only is it a terrific poem in English--and one that I can relate to--but your language, Draconic? Is utterly awesome.
I really gotta check on my older entries more often.......*falls over*
Anywho, Darconic is indeed a language I made up.^.^ It was created for a comic book series I'm working on, in which I'm not sure when it will actually be written.^_^;; It's based on Japanese, with a slightly different way of saying some phrases.(For example, "I am a dragon", "Watashi wa ryu desu" in Japanese, comes out as "Rakita gi dena tsyuri" in Draconic.("Desu" and "dena" pretty much mean the same thing, and "tsyuri" is "dragon".^.~)
I write poetry and such things in the language to both show others my progress and to keep me motivated to write it.
Sorry it took so dang long to reply. I'll try to check on these few visible entries a little more often from now on.^.^;;;;

I invented the grammatical structure for a language a little while back, but I've been slacking on the vocabulary...
