At least I have a nice buffer zone, we close on the 26th of this month but the lease on the apartment goes until April 30th.  But damn, we've been here for nine years and are both packrats.  I'm gonna need that month.

Not to mention my store is being converted to the O'Reilly's system on the 27th.  Too much shit to do both at

Oh, I can't wait to be in the new house. It's the actual acts of cleaning, packing, carrying, hauling, etc. that annoy me. ;)

I generally don't mind having to do a little work to get to something I want, but I guarantee I'll bitch about it the whole time. Not sure why, I usually don't hate things anywhere near as much as I say I do.

My mother got me the Martha Stewart Homekeeping tome for Christmas (you know, because looking stuff up on the internet is way slower than finding the book and looking it up), and Martha has you start prepping for a move two entire months in advance.
