I just locked down the last two entries to friends only, in the interest of letting her down as gently as I can. After the voice mail she left me today I fear it may come to that soon. I'm going to tell you something that I'm sure you've already heard...You don't want someone broken that you can fix. I once had a relationship with a man who almost seemed to encourage me to fall down so he could help me up. He did all of the nice things like open doors and such, but also blew every issue I had totally out of proportion. I ended up feeling the opposite, and it really bugged me. Stay nice, but look for an equal, not someone with a broken wing.

Apologies in advance if that whole thing sounded condescending. It wasn't meant to be.

Actually, it takes two broken wings to be my equal. :)
