Thank you. And I agree. It's one of the grossest damned stories I've every heard, but ... I wish I had Bob's knack for a tale. At the same time as I'm going "ohgodohgodohgod, that's disgusting, Bob," when I listened to him tell the story I was also laughing so hard I had trouble catching my breath. He just had a way of telling a story--there was something in his delivery--that one couldn't help but find funny, no matter the subject.

Listening to Bob was kind of like sitting around having drinks with one person that simultaneously channeled Ron White, Robin Williams and George Carlin. With a dash of Billy Connolly for measure. :)

Thank you, m'dear. That's kind of a compliment to both me and Bob. There were many times when I'd be listening to one of his stories with no idea that he was telling me anything other than day-to-day stuff, then come to a punchline that would nearly make me blow a snot laughing. So, yeah, it was the reverse for you, but ... Well, the Uncle Bob legacy continues, after a fashion, and that is a good thing. ;D

Speaking of Uncle Bob-like things, I can't wait till I'm over this sinus infection (that I've posted nothing about) and am through with these damn antibiotics. 'Cause one of the side-effects is, shall we say, gastrointestinal. Meaning everything I eat becomes at least semi-liquid.

I'd really love to be able to crack one off, again, but I'm afraid to. I'm scared that I'll shart myself if I do.
