it's too early for me to have anything really coherent to say, beyond hey! yr still alive! woo! and also, dude, your icon. crankiest court jester ever, I kind of love it.
What the shit do you have on your head in that icon?!! I've been wanting to ask for a while but your posts have been so serious it would have seemed a bit uncouth. Ha.
It is my homemade jester cap. Me and the boys made them back in the day. This one's about 20/21 years old. There's one other around here, hanging out with the rest of my hats, but that one isn't quite of a fit I like.
The one in the icon is made of three shirt sleeves and the neckband of a turtleneck t-shirt thing. I occasionally still wear it Just Because. In the past, we all wore them on stage, for no readily apparent reason. It wasn't a gimmick, we just traveled with them. One of us would snug one on and most times, the rest of us would follow suit. But it wasn't mandatory, or anything.
And we learned early on to take the damned bells off. Too many welts and bruises from going all aggro head-bangy.

Silly to still wear it, but nostalgic.
