OMG THOUGHTS!

I totally want to organize a network/community for Hetalia fans in New England (maybe S.E. New England specifically, but not exclusively). I totally have enough connections in RI/Mass to be able to pull shit out of my ass for sites for meetups. I enjoy organizing meetings and creating itineraries, and more than anything, I. LOVE. SOCIALIZING. 8V ( Read more... )

I'd so be in!!

I don't come back from break until the 4th or 5th, but if it's sometime after that...!

I remember for Hetalia Day there was only, like, 3 people besides me saying they were a Hetalia fan in RI. The idea of meeting more fans in the area sounds like a lot of fun~!

That makes three, at least! XD I call this success.

RI is a pretty small place, so there probably aren't too many... but there are probably more in Boston/South Shore. I'll advertise it to all of New England but make sure people know it's based in RI/Southern Mass.

If I'm -smart- I'll postpone this until later on in January or February... since it'd be pretty short notice otherwise. XD (and even later than that, if I want to be -safe-.)

I should put some info out there to figure out what works for the people interested... so everyone who wants to come, can do so.

I've been wanted to organize a New England group for a while now, but I've been to shy to do it. (I always feel like I'm so under the radar my attempts will be ignored ;____;)

Right now I'm not doing much, taking a break from school, so I'm almost always free.

As long as meeting aren't outside I'm good. I've got pretty bad anemia, and like not turning blue in the cold XD

As for meeting places we should pick places that are easy to get to. And for more complex places (say someone knows where we could have an awesome photoshoot) we could meet at one of the easier places to get to, then proceed to the other location for whatever purpose was suggested (I said photoshoot cause that's on my mind right now XD)

I'm pretty good at organizing events, I'm just really shy, so I work best in the background. But I hope to start getting over my shyness ^^;

I figure for the winter, inside is a safer. It's been pretty warm so far... aside from a couple freakishly (or... characteristically, really) cold days... but I wouldn't want to have people outside for too long.

Anyone who wants to help is more than welcome to! This isn't the first time I've organized a meeting, but it's always really nice to have help~!

Boston and Providence are both pretty easy to get to, as long as people can get to the MBTA train stations, and trains are always running from like, 4am to midnight. I think it's pretty easily workable, personally. :v

The commuter rail to and from Boston runs through my town (Reading). I'm just shy about taking the train alone (I'm a very small girl and am very paranoid about traveling alone).

I also think if/when we all get more comfortable with each other we could explore some other options, like parties.

My town is small and quiet, and has a lot of nice places for photoshoots. That could be something fun for the spring.

I am also hopelessly addicted to hosting parties. So if we all got comfortable enough with each other to a point where that was an option I would be all for it.

If you want to talk more (and not play comment tag cause I'm not getting notification of and relies for some reason) my AIM is HunterofHearts, and my MSN is HunterofHearts@vampirefreaks.com I'll be here all night, so feel free to send me a message whenever if you like.

XD *adds on MSN*

The train isn't bad~ it's pretty safe and it's really nice, compared to other public transportation I've been on... but I can understand concern. ,:3
