Fiasco is a role-playing game of capers gone horribly wrong. When I read these descriptions it's hard for me to tell how much is supplied by the game authors and how much the players have to synthesise. Where is the line?

It's virtually all player-generated. What the game provides is the flavor text (included above) for the scenario, and a handful of tables that are consulted only at the Setup, the Tilt, and the start of the Aftermath. I am quite certain we will run Objective Zebra again and get a very different storyline - the random seed elements will be different and that will send us off in a different line of thought.
