Oi! Glover Lovers, where is our fandom??
I still consider Crispin my number one favorite actor.. yet... my fandom seems so dead! Barely any news, barely any fan activity in LJ like with other fandoms around here... are you all hiding on some forum I don't know? (willing to share links?)

Crispin as the Joker reminds me of his role in Wild at Heart... he might be a little too creepy... but I don't think he would play it at all like Heath Ledger. he'd be more... eccentric, maybe.

the Dark Night review in the Seattle Times talked all about Heath Ledger's way of talking, how he'd put pauses and emphasis seemingly at random. that's exactly one of the reasons why I love Crispin Glover so much! he does precisely that, but fits it to whatever role he is playing.

and whoever replaces Heath Ledger, regardless of whether it is Crispin Glover, will get a really hard time. like the guy who replaced Dumbledore...
