Excuse me sir, if you ever do record another album, I'd like to be in on it. And to answer your question, it'd probably a drumstick, though you'd have guessed. Anyway, you can not only play with the level of sound, but depending on what song you're playing, you can change the tone of things, as well as make anything sound interesting with one.
