For my anthropology test, I find the easiest way to remember who Dian Fossey was is to think back to the game, The Curse of Monkey Island.
Didn't realize it till now, but on the pirate ship run by monkeys, the captain was a Gorilla and the First Mate's name was Mr. Fossey.
Dian Fossey studied Gorillas.
Obviously, this was breaking news.

Also, Dian Fossey is mentioned in Jurassic Park by the lovely old Dr. Hammond.
And lastly, have you seen Gorillas in the Mist? It's a Sigourney Weaver movie/biography of Dian Fossey. It has Sigourney Weaver, so that makes it good.

But no, I have not seen Gorillas in the Mist. SW is always nice, though.
Don't forget to pick up the map out of the jar! But you need to distract Mr. Fossey first! But how....?
