So I made this deal to post some part of some piece of fiction that I'm working on, no matter how unpolished it is. I did that, and got some useful feedback from Robert, with whom I had struck this deal, although Natalie seems to have abstained

When I read things on LiveJournal, if they're more than a paragraph or two, I tend to space out and sort of skim the rest. Usually I read them with my mind thinking about replies I want to make, but not really thinking about editing that way I normall do when I read stuff
