Chris likes kitty cats! What a wonderful story. Recently I searched for some old emails from my mom, and I read one where she said:Chris hasn't posted anything to his LiveJournal for days. Last week he was sick and dosing himself with "strange Taiwanese headache medicine". Why, oh why hasn't he written in his journal?!! Is he too weak to write? Did he find out I was reading it and switch? Did he expire? Ack! I read his posts like my daily dose of "Doonesbury" & "For Better or Worse".
For me, reading your livejournal different from comics, but equally addictive.

Wow. That's a really nice compliment. Thanks. It seems like there are some times when I get lots of comments, and some times when I get none, and during those times I always wonder whether anyone's still reading.

I like the word "expire." I think it's fair that I get to see your mom's e-mail, since she got to read my journal.

I've noticed that people's moms like to read my lj. Maybe that's my market. I should have popup ads for like Lifetime and minivans. You know what, though? My own mom doesn't read it. She bugged me literally for YEARS to give her the URL, and finally I did and now she doesn't read it. Neither does my dad or my brother or ANY of my family members as far as I know. I'm sort of glad, actually. I would feel weird if my family saw stuff like this entry, kind of the same way I'd feel weird if they saw me drunk or singing karaoke (which I still refuse to do).

Gee, here I was about to get all constructive-critical on you, and Meredith's post melts my cold-clinical editor's heart.

It was interesting reading this on paper. Seeing it as something that was four pages made it feel more serious than it would if I had read it online. Also, I went into it thinking it was definitely short fiction, probably because of the title to a degree, but mainly because it was on paper, and I couldn't see it as an LJ post anymore.

I took it to a play I went to last night and was reading it when my friends arrived. They mocked me a little for being so serious about reading LJ posts, but I didn't mind.

It's definitely interesting how much of a big deal something can become just by printing it, though. Wouldn't it be interesting if someone's blog was published as a collection of short stories and essays? I'd love to read the book and the blog back-to-back and compare my reactions.

That would be interesting. I wonder when people will start publishing collections of blog entries. Actually, you sort of mimicked reading fiction and a blog back to back, right?

Anyway, please do get all constructive-critical on me, as long as you keep in mind that certain things-like that part that goes into the present tense talking about how class just started-are purely bloggy. I'd be interested to hear how my diary reads as fiction.

Wait, that post was four pages long? Double or single space?

ah.... I finally find this entry after viewing your other entries (some I just read the title, and some I even read the comments) for 50 minutes. This is just to tell you that I had that paragraph (and 2 more previous sentences) translated 2 days ago (finished on Tuesday around this time). But I'm worried that I might 1:polish it too much or use too many dificulty words, and 2.misunderstand some parts. In addition, I'm not sure how to give you that file because I want to know what you think about it while you're reading. So, let me know how you like to get it.
