There's a new one-flagship store, near 101. Very bling. In fact, the one on Dunhua is pretty bling. I'm not sure we ever went. I bought a book of Murakami in Chinese. There's a whole bunch of Murakami that hasn't been translated into English but has been translated into Chinese. Kind of a bummer, especially since I can't really make heads or tails of out this book. I thought I'd be able to since I did fine with a couple of his short stories, but apparently not. Same translator, just harder words. Fortunately, a friend of mine has a copy of the collection containing the stories that were easier for me, so I'm going to borrow it and maybe put up a couple translations.

Not so-now my computer is fixed, but at the time of this post I was definitely back in that same slimy, STD-ridden internet cafe.

I just got out of the internet habit when my computer was in the shop. I am writing an update now. I didn't post it because I got interrupted, but I'll finish tomorrow. I'm glad somebody noticed I stopped writing, actually. It's been a long time, huh?
