I'd wanted to go to both shows, but when you don't get off work until 5:30, there's zero chance of making it to a show by 6.
Not sure how many other people saw the start time and decided it was cutting it way too close to get off work, get dinner, get cleaned up, and get out there.
That last bit about the sword..holy shitballs..do you have hand signals to people as to what they should do for you in that sort of situation?
It's a very rare thing to happen and even the top sword swallowers are perplexed as to what happened. I need to make a hand signal for help If I did the international chocking sign it'd probably be seen as a gag for the audience.
That was my second thought after oh shit was how do I signal what is happening...
I am glad to hear that you are getting shows now. It seemed like things were pretty quiet on that front for a long time after the move. Now you know what to do if the sword thing happens again.
