This was a great year. got to see a lot of old friends, meet a few new ones etc. Again I want to give huge thank you's to Devillbunny, Rich, Skot, Henri, The Angles, and everyone else that put in extra time to make this happen ( Read more... )

The firewalk I had a chance to witness, a long time ago, back in the old country, the coal bed was about 1 1/2 to 2" thick. They prepared the coal in a separate pit and then shovled the hot coal in a spread. The fakir who walked, walked at medium pace and of course it impressed the hell out of everybody.

Sounds like I should have thought to talk to you to see if you had any input. I bet ours was a good 8-12 inches, way too deep.

I had no idea how deep it was. Sorry I didn't think of that part. I thought it was maybe three inches at the deeper parts.

I just now saw this..lol..We will have to do it again and I will help as much as possible next time and every year we do it again....I have to admit I kind of liked the smaller crowd...Either way I look forward to next year...HOPING WE CAN DO IT!!??
