As I'm recovering I'm also gearing up for the Ink'n in the Valley Tattoo Convention and Sideshow Gathering. This used to be the highlight of my year but for several years I was lucky to survive it. But now that I'm free of the trouble maker that made several years hell I'm excited about the trip again ( Read more... )

It might not be a bad idea to at least get a good solo fire and sideshow routine created and ready to market. You can always work in another act or two as they come and go, but I think you should focus on your solo act and then make it more of a Crispy + guests kind of thing than a family circus event. Only because at this point I think that would provide a more stable experience to people who come to your show. Currently it seems that that cast is so unstable that there is not enough consistency to really have the family carnival thing idea mean the same thing from show to show and I don't think that is good for any fans you have. If you switch to a solo + guests format then the expectations change from a full on show with a variety of acts to you and then you could advertise any guests separately.
