My advice for the new year is this: try not to get bitten by a snake and/or spider. I was watching this really gross show on Animal Planet last night about people who had managed to get themselves bitten by various poisonous creatures. To summarize: Ew. This is not something you guys want to go through, so please try to avoid it at all costs

We're going to be saying 2012, they're already doing it in these parts (ie, Vancouver 2012 [twenty-twelve] Olympics). I often stick to the longer 'thousand' names; the more talking you make yourself do, the more time you have to think about what you're going to say next. It's a good improv trick, as long as you don't repeat yourself or say dumb things.

Oh gosh, sorry to scare you! My foot is still sore, but it doesn't swell as much. I STILL don't know what I did to it!
