Yup, they all work. However, the batteries do need replacing. I can do that for you, but it might cost an extra dollar or two (depending on how much the batteries are).

nothing really... i mean, the puppies look different, but they're both the same basic tamaguchi baby to adult thing. personally, i liked the baby puppy more, but, I think it was just the shape of it lol

actually no, i'm awaiting payment for the original (we think it got lost in the mail), but the bat, the baby puppy, and the baby dinosaur fell through, so those three are definitely available

they all need new batteries, the only one i've ever changed (doesn't work anymore) just took one of those little round ones you can buy in dollar stores.
