yes!!! i love teachers like that. and i was totally thinking the same thing about your last name. muahahaha. ya thats weird.
ps, i was at shins once and a birthday happened, and i nearly shit myself. before i realized how awesome it was, it wasTERRIFYING. lets go there and pretend its my birthday when i get bacck in town.

yeah...no im pretty much gonna force you to go and sit in one of his classes, just for a day...just so you can be amazed and hopefully be inspired even more to be an educator as flippen awesome as he is. he just knows how to make the u.s. political history interesting, really interesting actually. dani and i look forward to the class. meanwhile, i think about commiting suicide every minute im in my english class...does this make sense? no. and neither does my english teacher.

anyways...
about the shins birthday thing. yeah...my immediate reaction was complete comfusion and bafflement. i didnt even know my friend had told them it was my birthday so not only did i not understand what was going on, but also why they were coming towards me, hahaha. it was sa-weet though once i cracked the code. you and cassie both NEED to celebrate your "birthdays" there...i would say that you havent lived until you've had your own 30 second, personal, techno rave japanese suprise party.
