- On the plane from Tampico to Houston, there was a French couple carrying a wedding dress and a sombrero. No idea what their story was or why they were there or why they had this odd pair of carry one items, but with the entire French population of Tampico being like 6, this was pretty random

In my books there's no such thing as coincidences. It's the universe giving messages to people if they'd only open their eyes and ears to really look and hear. But you're doing it, and that's why you've noted everything down. :)

cool part is I can already tell the difference between Canadian French, northern French, and southern French ;)

the weirdest part for real was the security guard guy. I wish my mom had heard it because it was just so surreal and he totally like disappeared into thin air right after that, that I wonder if I just imagined it...

Awww you should have told me you were in Houston! Sounds like you ended up having a pretty good time =)

Did you get everything sorted out with your visas?

yeah, it was a crazy last minute thing, I ended up being able to go and get the visa with just a scanned version of my work contract, and it (the visa and my passport) got back to me exactly one week later via Fedex. Oh Fedex, how I love thee...

and yeah, other than that, surprisingly it was fun :)

Sept 21st, here I come, whether Im ready for it or not... lol...
