Didn’t get the part I wanted in Eurydice. Didn’t even get cast. I’ve gotten in every show we’ve done up to this point but it stung an extra bit since I REALLY wanted the part of Orpheus.

Oh well. At least now I have time to do work, write, blog and stuff?

I didn't know there was and Orpheus and Eurydice play. That's always been one of the stories I'd like to rewrite if I were a better author. I'm sorry you didn't get the part. You could use the time to read Antigone, in which the character named Eurydice also dies?

It's a great read. Look it up. Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl. She's an amazing playwright. If you like that also look up "In the Other Room or the Vibrator Play" by her.
