Every once in a while I wonder if the whole world is laughing at me behind my back... if everyone knows something that I don't... or maybe everybody is waiting for the crucial moment to jump out and laugh in my face because of some tragilarious prank that was played on me... or maybe I am just super-paranoid (most likely the case here).

it's all about having tact, in my opinion. which is generally a packaged-deal with all the necessary trimmings; consideration, modesty, and all of the other golden characteristics that are sparse in the world today. sure, it's easier to think negatively... but that's a tragedy now, isn't it? just kick back and ration out your benefit-of-the-doubt as you would snack food when there's still a week to go until next payday.
it's been my experience that there is nothing that can be done about many of life's little disappointments... so get angry, shrug it off, take a deep breath, have a beverage, and most of all--never allow yourself to forget... everyone is stupid. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Yes, yes... you are an attention whore. People with low self-esteem generally like to have attention as a reminder that they are actually worth while.

As I have told you many times before... no matter what circumstances change in your life... (you could have more money and 2000 friends), you need to find peace within yourself, in order to attain the happiness you have incessantly sought after.

You need to be able to look at the mirror, with your shirt on and off, honest with who you are, literally, figuratively and all other forms... completely naked. See what society has imposed upon you as flaws, within your personality, your body, your preferences...

Suddenly many of the things we worry about become what they should be... petty, insignificant ILLUSIONS... manifested to drive us absolutely mad. You are you, Christopher. You are beautiful.
