-- get back here!

[The gear comes on suddenly with the view lopsided and on it's side. It only shows the floor, until a Poocheyna's claws pass by, followed by Terra.]

Give that back! Give it--!

[There's a growl and Terra's wayfinder is suddenly thrown at the ground with force, broken and in pieces ( Read more... )

... you're having problems too?

I got a few answers from the others. Maybe those will help you, if you want them.

She keeps insisting on fighting, even if we spent all day training or that she's over exerting herself. It's like all she wants to do is keep fighting.

What else is there? Most of the time I see pokemon just used for fighting.

That depends. How bad is it?

All she ever does is to keep fighting. Even when she needs rest or it's the middle of night, all she ever wants is to go out there and do battle. I tried calling her out on it and well...

... that's what happened.

[And he sighs a little. That was important to him. True, he had his friends here, but it was still something important.]

How many other pokemon do you have, Terra?

Two others apart from her. A Pikachu and a Phanpy.

... my Wayfinder, yeah.

[He sighs tiredly, running his fingers through his hair as he goes to his bag to find something to put it in.]

I'm sorry if we woke you, Ven. You can go back to sleep.

[Terra kneels alongside him, picking up mostly the glass shards and leaving Ven with the metal pieces so he would't hurt himself.]

Great, what to do...

[There are no words. Riku might not be too familiar with Wayfinders, but he does know they're important.

So, cautiously, he respond. What in the world...?]

What happened?

... a disagreement.

[That's all to say on the matter. No, this is Riku. He's been heaving a lot of sighs today.]

My pokemon wanted to keep fighting even if she was over exerting herself, and when I flat out told her that she can't always keep battling, she got mad and destroyed it.

[...Ah, well that's an interesting situation, especially since Riku works his team until they can't fight anymore.

What to do...]

Maybe let her keep fighting-- at least for a while. If she's that into battles, it's probably better to let her run out of steam and then make her stop. Could help calm her down.

[A beat.]

But if that doesn't work, you could always give her a reason to stop. Maybe some kind of treat to distract her.

Run out of steam until she collapses?

[Terra is still above overtraining his pokemon. He's strict with himself, but not others. Comes with the older brother to Ven thing.]
