well i am going back into the navy i hope at the end of the month. i am really excited. i get to go in as a petty officer first class. so thas kick ass. i have to do 17 days of boot camp as a refresh thing and then go to my A School. I am going in for damage control. what is damage control. these are the bad ass guys in the navy. they are hard core

i am goin to be leaving soon i hope my best friend is in the army and he is in iraq right now. and he has a baby on the way too. and damage control rocks. i will be leavin for iraq i am sure asap. i want to go over there as soon as i can. i was in the navy for the 1st time for a year and then i screwed my knee up and got out. and i suck at being a civilian so i wanna go back in.

How can you be going in the Navy As a Petty Officer 1rst class after only serving one year in the navy.

It doesn't add up. TIme in Rate doesn't add up. Sure u didn't mean 3rd class (e-4) first class is (E-6) Promotion between e-5 and e-6 is minimal 3 years.

idk thats just what the paper says. i have 4 yrs of fire fighting school. so idk.

Congrats on getting them to let ya in as a first. Just hope that you don't plan on doin a whole lot of actual work and you like to do more paperwork than anything. E-6's are expected to stay out of the grease.
