Not sure what kind of fanfic you are into. : P Most of what is posted here is slash fanfic. If you like reading that, then you are welcome. I am fairly new to the fandom. I started sort of fanatically reading Labyrinth fanfic around the time I retired and then round an author who I beta'd for and who taught me to write a bit. My Labyrinth (het) stories are up on fanfic.net under the username Magialuna.
I joined the Severus Sighs group because I wanted somewhere to chat about the HP fandom. They are really great. I you like Severus Snape, I highly recommend them. They encouraged me to learn to write in the HP fandom which is much more involved than Labyrinth (much smaller world, no spells and only two characters really, way less complicated.)
Doesn't matter as long as it's HP-related. I'm actually kinda new to the fandom as well. I saw the first couple of movies back in 2002 but never really got into it until 2009, when I saw the trailer for HBP, so we're in the same boat.
I am also fascinated with the character of Severus. I wouldn't say I ''fan-girl'' him but I find him interesting as a character. Other favorites include Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Draco Malfoy, and Mad-Eye Moody.
