I know this isn't a big deal for anyone but myself, but i'm excited - I managed to get 16g horseshoes through my earlobes! My ears are normally so contrary when it comes to anything going through them that it's difficult to even put regular earings in them ( Read more... )

Sweet! Are you planning on going any bigger, or just staying at 16g?

I think I might eventually go up to 12g, but no bigger than that, and even then it may take me 2 years - one year per stretch, lol. I like the look of the bigger jewellery but I don't think anything bigger than 12g will look good because it's the second hole up. I can get a normal 18g in the bottom hole in one ear but not the other, lol.

Have you stretched yours?

Groovy!

My ears and cartilage (I guess technically it's a helix?) are all at 2g. Stretching wasn't an intentional sort of plan for me, I'd end up buying the wrong size and then would wait till my ears self stretched enough so they fit. And over several years of doing that I actually measured my plugs and was surprised that I had basically gotten all the way to 2g without consciously making an effort, lol. I think I may go to 00g, but I don't think I would go any bigger. I like the aesthetics of the larger plugs, and you can get all sorts of fun ones, but I don't want to go super huge!
