It is amazing how just one little piece of paper can crush your mood. Last week I had an interview at a nice school. I thought the interview went well. I was so excited by the idea of havinga full time teaching job but then yesterday that all changed. I got a letter saying I didn't get the positions. I was crushed! I have been completing

I'm sure things will work out for you, Shannon. Getting a teaching job in Illinois is incredibly tough right now.
My brother has three years teaching experience and he still applied to more than 20 school districts before finally getting a job, and he had to really fight for the position he eventually won. You shouldn't feel too bad about it.

I do hope you find a job soon, those schools would be lucky to have you!!!!! Isn't it annoying though how things like the fact that work is not close makes one do decisions that otherwise might not happen *did that make sense*?
