Finally watching the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear that Nancy recorded for me. It is exactly like being there, except with 214,998 less people and instead of standing I am sitting on a comfy couch.
Thanks--it really was a good march--attendance was about 150K & there were other marches around the country that day. In D.C., Ed Schultz was one of the speakers--that was one of the reasons I was there--he'd promoted the march on his show. I rode on a bus w/Rutgers NAACP--was able to get that seat pretty much at the last minute

Ed Schultz is an interesting guy. I would probably watch him more but after Keith and Rachel I start to reach even my politics limit.
The media had no idea how to talk about Sanity/Fear, so for the most part they didn't.
150K at One Nation should be a lot easier to talk about but they still didn't.
I see this every day but I still don't get it. How can a few random groups of 50 tea baggers get so much coverage and yet when 150K go to Washington for a rally that is not worthy of notice??????? Argh.

Glad Nancy recorded the second one!

I am sad to say I did not know much about it until I looked just now. And it is no surprise but doubly sad how little coverage there was of it.
I guess at both rallies we should have burned something or really hated someone in a quotable way. That *always* gets good coverage.
