Yeah, so in case you didnt hear about it yet, we (Devito, Whitney, Anne and me) were in a car wreck driving back from texas, about 70 miles out of Dallas. My car is in pretty bad shape (we spun out and flipped over) but all of us are allright. Worst injury is a broken toe for Anne. Wasn't speeding or anything, its possible it was a car defect since ( Read more... )

Really glad you are okay! Sorry about the car, but I'm glad it did its job in protecting you.

Is it possible to ban you from highways or driving altogether? or at the very least the state of Louisiana? Since you graduated, I feel it necessary to up the restriction level on what you can and cannot do and where. It's a matter of national security/hilarity.
Car defect or not, I'll put all the blame on you. lol
Fuck the seat belts, it was the golf cart incident at Brigg's house that prepared you for this one.

I wish that was really what it would show.

I'm dying of laughter and it's all your fault.

Ack!
News travels slow for me.
I am so glad you guys are ok.
I seriously doubt that the rubber is supposed to totally separate from the rest of the rim. Argh. Definitely something to take up with the insurance company/dealer/manufacturer, whomever they send you to talk with.
Not to put words in her mouth, but-- I think Kristin (a.k.a. "Roomie") would agree with your new slogan. It definitely saved her ass, too.

Not that it means much to you guys, and you've probably already left, but-- my music prof grew up in Shreveport. Wonderful music there, but that's definitely not why you guys were there, hehe.

I'll be calling later this week just to make sure everything turns out all right. So sorry this happened to you all...

Sorry to hear about your car, but as stated you guys are fine besides gimpy(and I mean that in a friendly sort of way cause I love that nickname). I guess I was right in not coming to the house to play d&d yesterday. But as for everyone, you have survived another freaky incident that you can now tell your grandkids about, assuming you and your bad luck survive that long.

Damn dude, glad to hear you're all ok. Go Honda safety record. I hope insurance will get you a new one if it's totaled. If that was me after finding out everybody else was ok I'd be pretty hysterical about the car...

Talked to the claims guy today. Seems from the description of the accident he is going to total it. We will see after the Texas guy actually goes and looks at it.
